about

“Dataism” is an audio reflection of the latest work from the historian and philosopher, Yuval Noah Hariri. it examines what the future can have in store for us. Can we predict tomorrow? No, as our predictions influence the outcomes they try to predict. But we can imagine the future, based on long term observations, logic and patterns. And from them, we can decide to act, or not.

The AkA electronic venture was incepted in 1993 by Henri Sizaret to encourage critical observations, through shameless artificial and ultra-quantised beats. Here, no space for the natural or the gentle, only sarcastic poetry in layered loops and audio visual explorations. At the core of AkA, the computer, in command for what some call “a Tsunami of 0’s and 1’s” when AkA unleashes his work live.
